Rosoboronexport signs contracts worth about $7 bln so far in 2025

Rostec head Sergey Chemezov said that over 50% of the order book was equipment for the Air Force

MOSCOW, May 20. /TASS/. Rosoboronexport has signed more than 20 major contracts worth a total of about 7 billion dollars since the start of the year, according to Rostec head Sergey Chemezov.

"The portfolio of export orders has exceeded $60 billion. That’s a record for the 25 years of Rosoboronexport's work. This year alone, our special exporter has signed more than 20 major contracts worth about $7 billion and supplied military products to more than 15 countries. Over 50% of the order book is equipment for the Air Force. In addition, the supplied items include products for all types and branches of the armed forces," Chemezov was quoted as saying in Rostec's Telegram channel.

The executive also commented on the upcoming MILEX 2025 international exhibition of weapons and military equipment in Belarus, which will take place in Minsk, Belarus from May 21 to 24. According to Chemezov, Russia expects strong interest in its exhibits.

"In brotherly Belarus at the MILEX 2025 exhibition, Rosoboronexport will traditionally present dozens of types of weapons, military and special equipment - everything we have that is the newest and most-demanded on the market in the conditions of modern threats. No matter what our foes say, demand for Russian weapons in the world is rising," he said.
