Russian agencies prepare framework for return of foreign companies — Deputy PM

Alexander Novak emphasized that it was still too early to speak about specific decisions

MOSCOW, May 19. /TASS/. Russian ministries and government agencies are currently working on the framework for the potential return of foreign companies to the Russian market. The general approach has been determined, and relevant regulatory acts are being drafted, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters.

"Work is underway. At present, our government bodies - primarily the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economic Development - are jointly developing these measures with other sector-specific ministries. The general framework is clear, and the corresponding regulatory acts will be prepared," Novak said in response to a question about the conditions for the return of foreign companies to Russia.

He added that it is still too early to speak about specific decisions.
